The SBOA Inter School Sports and Games 2023 — a mega sports meet symbolizing unity and sportsmanship — was held from 1st to 3rd September, 2023.

The Inaugural Function was graced by Smt. V. S. Surekha, Indian International Athlete (Pole Vault), as the Chief Guest.  The event commenced with a traditional welcome presented by the students, which captivated the hearts of all spectators.

A wide range of athletic events and team games were conducted over the three days, including Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Kabaddi, Chess and Kho-Kho.  Each competition reflected the true spirit of teamwork, discipline and fair play.

The Valedictory Function, held on 3rd September, 2023, was presided over by Shri. D. Pazhani, DIG of Prisons, Madurai Range, as the Chief Guest and Shri. P. Thanga Raman Pitchai, Deputy Superintendent of Police, as the Guest of Honour.

The event was further graced by the President, Shri. A. Senthil Ramesh; Secretary & Correspondent, Shri. A. V. Joseph; Associate Secretary, Smt. S. Santhi; Treasurer, Shri. S. Manimaran; Correspondent of SBOA School, Madurai, Shri. P. Philip Raj; and the Correspondents of all SBOA Schools under the SBIOA Educational Trust.

The three-day sporting extravaganza concluded on a high note, celebrating excellence, camaraderie and unity among the participating schools.  SBOA School & Junior College, Chennai, proudly clinched both the Overall Shield in Sports and the Overall Shield in Games, marking a triumphant end to this grand event.
