The resource person Ms. D.G. Darjini is a trainer of effective classroom management for Cambridge learners and for collaboration and coordination among peers and ABL.  She is an engineering graduate with B.Ed., She is also a mathematics educator for CBSE, ICSE, IGS, syllabus. 

Ms. D.G. Darjini initially started the workshop by asking the following questions:

1.  Why are we here? What is meant by KWL chart?
2.  KWL means …What we KNOW, what we WANT to know and what we LEARN to know?

She suggested to draw 3 columns and made the teachers to fill their KWL chart.

The agenda of the programme was well explained.  The following team activities were done by the teachers.

Strict teacher & Engaging teacher (Role play), Groupwise lesson plan discussion, Bits of paper activity (Addition), Number Sheets from 0 to 9 activity (Place value), Puzzle card activity (Tricks), Mental Maths card activity (Answer me), Tips on time – sharing on various topics, Teachers’ time – sharing tips on the topics like Addition, Subtraction, Integers, Ascending & descending order, Songs of addition, Patterns using 9 dots with 4 lines, Warm up activity and Circles with skip counting

The teachers gained knowledge about the activities that could be done in the classroom on daily basis.
