A seminar on Health and Hygiene was conducted for Parents the kindergarten to educate them on the importance of maintaining good health and hygiene practices by Dr. P. Sudhakar who is a well-known developmental paediatrician and applied behaviour analyst.  The points discussed were – 

The importance of washing hands regularly, especially before meals and after using the restroom.

The parents were reminded on basic personal hygiene habits, such as brushing teeth, bathing regularly and wearing clean clothes.

The seminar emphasized the importance of eating nutritious food and avoiding unhealthy snacks.

Interactive demonstrations were used to make the parents understand the importance of vaccination, how important is sleeping pattern for children and on common myths and facts on foods that to be taken while not well.

Finally, feedback and question answer sessions were organized and it went on well with the active participation of the parents.

Overall, the seminar was very informative and engaging and it helped the teachers as well as parents to help their children develop good health and hygiene habits from a young age.
