2. Eco Club of SBOA Organizes Snehambaram – A Noble Act of Charity
The Eco Club of SBOA Public (Sr. Sec.) School organized Snehambaram, an Onakodi festive the noble initiative aimed at supporting the needy through the distribution of used clothes collected from various schools. The event was held at St. Anthony's Church, Vaduthala Parish Hall.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. Henry Austin, Councillor, Kochi Corporation, in the presence of the School Principal, Mrs. Sonia Susan. The initiative allowed the people to take clothes of their choice, symbolizing compassion, sharing, and social responsibility and promoting the values of recycle and reuse.
The effort stood as a shining example of the school’s commitment to instilling values of empathy and charity among students.
3. CLASSROOM TO CLIMATE ACTION CRUSADERS
In connection with World Food Day, the children from the KG to 9th took a meaningful step towards spreading kindness and sustainability. With the valuable support of SBOA Rotary Club members, our little crusaders prepared and distributed pothichor (packed meals) to the needy on the streets.
This simple yet powerful act not only taught children the value of sharing and empathy but also encouraged them to understand the importance of reducing food waste and caring for the community — truly living the spirit of “Classroom to Climate Action”.
