SHARPEN ACTIVITIES resumed after a pause for three years. The first event was the Freshers’ Orientation Programme which was conducted on 19th August, 2023 from 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. in SBOA School & JC, Chennai. Ninety teachers from all the 13 SBOA Schools under the SBIOA Educational Trust attended the Orientation Programme.
The Freshers’ Meet was inaugurated by the President of the SBIOA Educational Trust Mr. A. Senthil Ramesh. The Administrator Mr. D. Ravikumar briefed them about the Management’s Expectations. The other sessions were handled by Mrs. P. Gomathi – ‘The Role of Technology in Teaching’; Mrs. S. Reshma Fareen – ‘Set Your Goal Right’; Mrs. Revathy Alagarsamy – ‘Effective Lesson Plan for Efficient Teaching’.
The State Bank of India Officers’ Association (Chennai Circle) whose motto is “Service Before Self” is a registered Trade Union of S.B.I. Officers working in the State of Tamilnadu and U.T. of Pondicherry. The State Bank of India Officers’ Association Educational Trust was sponsored in the year 1978 by the Association and it started educational institutions for the benefit of Officers’ children and to serve the society. This service is given irrespective of caste, creed or colour.
