S.B.I.O.A. MODEL SCHOOL had its humble beginning in the year 1998 in Anna Nagar, comprising the Higher Secondary classes. As the need increased, in the year 2003, S.B.I.O.A. Model Matric & Hr. Sec. School started functioning as a full-fledged (LKG to Std XII) School in Mogappair. The School received the ‘Best School Leadership Award’ by Zamit International School and the ‘Brainfeed’ School Excellence Award in 2019. Along with academics, the students are coached in different sports and games, art & craft, music & dance, and much more. The School believes in allowing the children to bloom, blossom and thrive, giving them the right platform where they will work towards becoming responsible citizens.
This academic year, Model School celebrates the completion of twenty-five long years of service to the society. It marches forward with its head held high producing 100% result, year after year, in X, XI & XII standard.

The State Bank of India Officers’ Association (Chennai Circle) whose motto is “Service Before Self” is a registered Trade Union of S.B.I. Officers working in the State of Tamilnadu and U.T. of Pondicherry. The State Bank of India Officers’ Association Educational Trust was sponsored in the year 1978 by the Association and it started educational institutions for the benefit of Officers’ children and to serve the society. This service is given irrespective of caste, creed or colour.
